Appearance: Deep ruby color with garnet highlights, reflecting both the youth and concentration of the vintage.
Nose: Expressive and indulgent, dominated by intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, supported by notes of dark fruits (blackberry, black cherry) and a subtle hint of spice (white pepper, licorice). The 10-month aging in used oak barrels brings an elegant, lightly toasted character while preserving the purity of the fruit.
Palate: The attack is bold and juicy, carried by the richness of the Pinot Noir, which adds structure and depth. The Meunier contributes roundness and an extra touch of indulgence. The blackcurrant shines through, accompanied by subtle notes of underbrush and a hint of cocoa on the finish. The tannic structure is delicate and barely perceptible, enhancing the fruit's generosity, while the balanced acidity brings freshness and length.
Serving temperature: 8–14°C. We love enjoying it well chilled to highlight its natural freshness and fruity aromas — but feel free to find the balance that suits your palate best!
