Our Beehives & Our Honey

A Preserved Nature,
a Sweet and Delicious Commitment

At the heart of the Marne Valley, the Champagne Philippe Martin estate does more than just cultivate vines:

it also strives to preserve the biodiversity around it. In this spirit of respect for nature and living heritage, the house has set up several beehives on its lands, harmoniously integrated into the local ecosystem.

Bees for Environmental Balance

Bees, true environmental sentinels, play an essential role in pollination. By providing them a peaceful habitat within the vineyard, Maison Philippe Martin takes concrete action to preserve local flora and fauna. Their presence demonstrates the estate's ecological commitment beyond the cultivation of vines.

100% Estate-Produced Honey

Each year, the beehives produce natural, unprocessed honey, carefully harvested by hand. This honey, with its delicate floral aromas and silky texture, reflects the pure essence of the Champagne terroir. It embodies the same standards of quality and authenticity as the estate's champagnes.

The honey is then bottled at the estate, adhering to traditional artisanal methods. Offered exclusively in limited quantities, it is reserved for visitors and connoisseurs seeking rare and genuine products.

A Link Between Vines, Terroir, and Biodiversity

Introducing beehives is also a way to deepen the connection between humans, the land, and living organisms. By cultivating the vines respectfully, welcoming bees, and offering honey to visitors, Maison Philippe Martin shares a story of nature and patience, of taste and heritage.
